K Cups Have Taken Over

I pose to you this: We have been given these beautiful, high tech, “efficient”, one cup coffee makers. But efficient, how can we call them efficient when they create nothing but plastic waste? Each individual K Cup I try is delicious and I have even gone as far as using “my favorite” at least once a day. That means I am throwing away roughly a cubic inch of plastic 265 times a year. Why can’t we create K Cups that you can recycle?

I vow to try making my one cup of coffee from now on with the reusable K Cup that originally came with the machine.
